The New Year has started with great gusto –
7 excellent evenings of prayer, where we knew time after time such a richness
of God’s presence. Thanks for the many
for taking the time out to be at these.
I am looking expectantly for the outworking in our lives and amongst
us as a church of all God spoke to us about during the prayer times. The
first IGNITE meeting had a real
explosive start with a good number of young people attending. Please continue to pray for the team and
the young people at the start of this new adventure. Alpha, with up to 12 guests is just
getting underway with Nik, Ann and the team – do pray for them and their
guests. The Break The Tape celebration was a good
time for remembering God’s goodness to us and being rightly joy-filled over
paying off the mortgage. A huge thank
you to everybody who took part in organising the day. And of
course, we can’t forget Martin & Jackey’s wedding – what a great day that was! I am thrilled that we are continuing to know
the increasing richness of God’s presence and the recent testimonies of
healing.. There have been times when “purely to
stand” seemed inappropriate, “shouting and declaring His glory” seemed wholly
inadequate, as we got caught up in the magnificence of God’s presence. Please keep pressing into God, asking Him
to make himself known to you – so that for each of us we will know daily his
manifest presence with us. As I
look forward into the next month things aren’t slowing down – Adam and I
return to Redding, California to attend the Bethel school of
transformation. There we will be doing
a week’s training on how the Bethel
Church became a place of revival; what changes God led them through, and
how to move more powerfully and consistently in signs and wonders. Please pray for us; both that our
understanding will be opened, and we receive a significant impartation to
come back and help shape us as a church for all God has for us. The 10th February is also coming
up fast when Toby Skipper from Norwich will be visiting. The morning meeting will be a great
opportunity to bring your friends to.
In the evening Toby will be helping us with our personal evangelism –
it will be an evening of teaching, practise and impartation – do be there! Love
