So, what is it exactly that we believe?  The most simple explanation is this: we believe what the Bible says.  So what we believe is the same as other Christians:- that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died so that our sins can be forgiven.  We also believe that we have to ask for God's forgiveness and that when we pray to God, admitting that we have done wrong, then he forgives us.  Being forgiven by God for the things we have done wrong is so important: it means we have assurance of living with God after we die, it means that we are free from sin which can trap us like a spiders web, it means that life has a wonderful purpose.  If you visit us on a Sunday morning, don't be surprised if the sermon includes an invitation to become a Christian and start a new life!

Going into a little more detail, we believe that:

  • We must say sorry to God for the things we have done wrong
  • We have faith in God and believe that we can trust him
  • A Christian should be baptised
  • We can pray for each other
  • We will live with God after we die
  • Not everybody will live with God after death

Please contact us if you would like to know more about becoming a Christian.  We would be happy to send you some information in the post, arrange for someone to have a chat with you and perhaps pray if you wanted to do that.  You may also want to enquire about the alpha course - this is short course for people who want to know about God.
